What is Plesk?

Your Plesk control panel is an essential tool for managing your hosting space. It allows you to administer various aspects of your web hosting from a central location.

Plesk lets you :

  • Manage your email addresses (create, modify, delete)
  • Manage your FTP access (user creation, modification)
  • Manage your databases (MySQL, MariaDB, etc.)
  • Manage your web server (PHP versions, SSL/TLS certificate installation)
  • And many more features to suit your needs...

Access to Plesk

Access URL

The URL to access your Plesk control panel is sent to you by email when you activate your services. The URL may be subject to change, in which case you will receive an email notification.

Please note that our servers feature anti-bruteforce protection. In the event of repeated failed login, a block may occur. If necessary, perform a IP unlock request.

Identifiers

  • Shared server Your login is based on your name or company.
  • VM or dedicated server Your login is usually «admin».

Change my password

If you wish to change the password of your Plesk control panel, follow these steps :

  1. Connection
    Log in to your Plesk control panel.
  2. Access your profile
    In the left-hand pane, click on «Account».
  3. Change password
    Click on «My profile» in the upper buttons, then enter your new password in both fields. Alternatively, click on «Generate» for a random password.
  4. Confirm
    Click on «OK» or «Apply» to validate the change.

Password forgotten

If you've lost your password, follow the recovery procedure :

  1. Click on «Forgot password»
    On the Plesk login page, click on «Forgot your password?».
  2. Enter your email address
    Enter the email address associated with your Plesk account.
  3. Receive email
    You will receive an email with a link to reset your password in just a few minutes.

If your email address in Plesk is no longer valid, or if you encounter any other difficulties, please create a new email address. support ticket for assistance : https://www.lrob.fr/support/.

Current error

If you use your hosted email address (for example moi@monsite.com) as your login instead of your username. Plesk, You'll only be able to manage your mailbox, not your entire domain.

Using Plesk

Add a domain

This feature is designed for resellers, customers multi-domain or server owners VM or dedicated.

  1. Access to domain management
    In Plesk, click on «Domains».
  2. Add a domain
    Click on «Add a domain», then follow the steps below :
    • Domain name Enter the domain name to be added.
    • Assign to a customer If you manage domains for customers, select the option «Assign this domain to a customer», otherwise leave this option blank.
    • Create a subscription Leave this option enabled.
    • FTP username Select a user name for this domain (used for FTP access). Select a name that will easily identify the domain.
  3. Confirm
    Click on «OK» to finalize the domain addition.
