It lets you view and manage your e-mails without any special configuration. <strong>LRob<\/strong> provides webmail <strong>Roundcube<\/strong> with all its accommodation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main advantage of webmail is that it connects directly to the mail server, giving you immediate access to your e-mails without any manual configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"url-du-webmail\">Webmail URL<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your domain is <strong>monsite.com<\/strong>you can access your webmail at the following address :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Example: http:\/\/webmail.monsite.com<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Note<\/strong> Make sure you type this URL directly into your browser's address bar, not into a search engine. You can also bookmark it for quick access.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"connexion-par-logiciel-de-messagerie-client-email\">Connection via email client<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"connexion-sur-pc\">PC connection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Integrated clients such as <strong>Apple Mail<\/strong> or <strong>Microsoft Mail<\/strong> on Mac or PC due to their complexity and instability. The recommended software is <strong>Mozilla Thunderbird<\/strong> which is free and open-source. You can download it here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thunderbird.net\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.thunderbird.net\/fr\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can also use <strong>Microsoft Outlook<\/strong>But it has its drawbacks: it's not free, it's heavy, it's relatively unstable, and since the update at the end of 2023, it collects your personal data, including the content of your e-mails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-plain has-medium-font-size is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow is-style-plain--1\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tip<\/strong> Thunderbird and Outlook support automatic mailbox configuration, which means you only need to enter your email address and password. Technical parameters are automatically configured.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"connexion-sur-mobile\">Mobile connection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>iPhone<\/strong> : Use the customer <strong>Mail<\/strong> integrated, although it can be temperamental if incorrectly configured. If in doubt, consult your support team. A certificate <strong>Wildcard<\/strong> must be in place to guarantee a secure connection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Port<\/strong> Each protocol (IMAP, SMTP) uses a dedicated port for communication. Make sure your firewall or antivirus software doesn't block these ports. Note that port forwarding on your router is not concerned here.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Identifier<\/strong> Your login is <strong>always<\/strong> your full email address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Password<\/strong> If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it via your control panel. <strong>Plesk<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SSL\/TLS encryption<\/strong> This option secures your exchanges with the mail server. <strong>Thunderbird<\/strong> and <strong>Outlook<\/strong> support these protocols, but Outlook tends to handle the distinction between <strong>SSL<\/strong> and <strong>STARTTLS<\/strong>. If you use Outlook, prefer the <strong>465<\/strong> with SSL for SMTP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"problemes-connus-et-solutions\">Known problems and solutions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"outlook\">Problem with Outlook: Backup\/Delete not possible in IMAP<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Symptoms<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visit <strong>IMAP<\/strong>If you're having trouble saving your sent emails or deleting items with the error \"Item is already deleted\", this may indicate a problem with IMAP's path configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cause<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Outlook may sometimes fail to set the IMAP path correctly. By default, our servers use the <strong>INBOX<\/strong>which is standard on most mail servers.
